So, I am halfway through Confessions of a Shopaholic and it has been a side-splitting adventure with Rebecca Bloomwood. She is quite the character and is definitely someone anyone could relate to. Becky is a financial journalist who tries to advise people on what they should do with their money. However, Becky needs advice on what to do with her lack of money.
I love the book so far because it is constantly entertaining. Becky is always getting into trouble with either the bank or her own shopping tendencies. You feel bad for, but you also want to slap and tell her not to spend all of her money on such frivolous things. She is so relatable and I have had my fair share of rationalizing purchases made at the mall.
I am also super intrigued by her budding friendship with Luke Brandon. I am curious to see where they will end up as the novel progresses!!
Read ya later,
